Wireless Charging While You Drive

Detroit has a pilot going for dynamic wireless charging embedded in the road. This technology has been around for a number of years but this is the first installation that I know of on a public roadway. It will only be used for internal testing for the foreseeable future. I have not heard of any OEMs planning on releasing this feature in vehicles. This could be interesting for vertical applications such as rental car buses at airports or city buses on limited city routes. Critical mass of roads are a long way off.
